Bar staff
If your wedding wants to provide a separate free bar at the wedding venue then we will setup the bar and provide the staff. The staff will be available to serve drinks and clear glasses throughout the evening. Wine and drinks We can assist you in your choice. We do not procure the wine for you. We will though give you our best advice, experience, and look out for bargains. Charge for corkage We will not charge for corkage. You choose, buy and transport your own wine and other beverages to the event. Our service staff will serve them to your guests as they arrive, and through the course of the meal. Providing a bar We would be happy to hire a bar and accessories if it is a free bar. If you want to provide a paying bar for your guests then we can recommend a company which provides that service. (Please remember to check with your venue on their policy to sell and serve alcohol.) Bar settings If you want to create the "bar effect" then it is possible to hire high tables and bar stools. You can section off an area for "the bar" or even spread them around the venue. They can be very effective when the venue has an outside area where guests can smoke or socialise. |

Table set-up and clear away
We do prepare the tables and place settings for the event. Once the meal is complete the tables are cleared and everything is removed. Resetting the tables When your event has a dance we will move the tables to clear the space. If you are having food in the evening then we will create a serving area and re-set the tables as necessary. Specifying the table set up To put your mind at rest we expect every couple to have their own ideas of what they would like. It is your Special Day and we respect your wishes. We will do our utmost to help and accommodate what you want. Crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen We can provide these unless you have someone to supply a more unique or theme based table layout. Food preparation area To prepare hot food we do prefer an area to set up and prepare your menu. This is especially important when we are serving a banquet 3 course meal menu, or a hot buffet. If your event is serving a variety of cold food then we still needs some space, or area, to get everything ready. Fridges and cold storage These are needed when food has to be transported long distances. Or the event itself is day + evening and food needs to be kept fresh. We have our own cold boxes to do this and only hire extra refrigeration if necessary. Many venues - of whatever type - seldom have enough refrigeration to store large quantities of food. Minimal or simply non-existent cooking facilities Sometimes a venue will have limited, or no cooking facilities. A more remote location such as a field, barn, or "tipi", will have none. To compensate we can improvise by hiring gas ovens and/or hot cupboards. Cake Assembly A multi tiered cake usually needs to be assembled at the venue. We will assemble for you if you can provide us with detailed instructions. |

Something you are unlikely to forget about. Baked and created by you or a friend. Or by a specialist company. Let us know if you need any help. |

Hang your coat
For some venues and locations there are not necessarily any cloakroom facilities. The hire of coat rails is possible, if needed. |
Dancing
Evening entertainment comes in many forms. The traditional "disco" dance. Singer and band. Some karaoke. We know some talented acts to give you a great evening. |

The costs of wedding services
Staff are paid by the hour. Simply the longer they are needed the more they will cost.
The hire of equipment, and delivery charges, are included in the cost of the wedding services.
